Consulting and Supervision Steel Structures

Welding Supervision , Fabrication and Erection

We offer close supervision and oversight in the process of qualified welding supervisors, engineers and engineers experienced by pre-determined stopping points according to the project quality plan.

Proper and effective supervision at predetermined stopping points will prevent delays in production schedules, cost savings, and prevent rework.

The importance of properly selecting the stopping points for audits is critical and it is recommended to make it before fabrication and erection begin.

Welding Supervision

Here are the tests to do before welding starts:

  • Adjustment and validity of welder certification certificates and welding operators.
  • Adjustment of welding Procedure (WPS & PQR).
  • Raw Materials Certificate.
  • consumables Welding Certificate.
  • Preparation of the joint before welding ( such as: drawing fit, phase preparation, cleaning, etc. ).
  • Any special requirement that appears in the deformation prevention welding process ( pre-heating, thermal treatment, etc. ).
  • Adjustment of working conditions such as: weather conditions, appropriate equipment and safety.

Here are the inspection to be performed during welding:

  • Essential welding parameters ( such as welding current, arc voltage and speed ).
  •  Preheat and Iterpass.
  • Cleaning between welding layers.
  • Storage, identification and appropriate use of welding consumables.
  • Control of distortion of the material.

Here are the inspection to be performed after welding:

  • Visual inspection (VT) of welds ( Completion of all welds, welds dimensions, shape etc.).
  • Perform non-destructive tests according to the quality plan and drawing requirements.
  • Destructive Testing Production Testing of the same welding process if required.
  • Documentation checks and reports.

Supervision of Erection of Steel structures with bolts

Here are the inspection before bolts erection:

  • bolts manufacturer’s certificates
  • stemp marking such as strength, manufacturer’s name, etc., on the screw head according to standard.
  • Adjustment of bolts ( type, strength, length, diameter etc. ) according to drawings.
  • tightening technique according to drawing requirements specifications.
  • Surface and fever cleaning.
  • Proper storage of the Bolts , Nuts and Screws
